Radisson Blu Hotel Cottbus

The reception staff's warm welcome and the beautiful view from my room enhanced my stay, making it nice despite some room maintenance issues.

The room is a nice size with a panoramic view. The services are EXCEPTIONAL, including a lovely pool.

- Outdated room decor, poor internet connection, inconsistent housekeeping

Had fairly nice stay during my visit, the staff were efficient, location was incredible next to the Central Railway Station. The standard room I stayed in was great-sized with view to the main station: D

High quality clean, functional and opposite the railway station.

There was private parking. One of the dining options, Cafe Schiller was 10 mins walk away. Good base for city break in Cottbus...

Solid stay with a few bumps

Had a pretty good stay, location's super close to the train station and nice for getting around. The room was decent, just needed a little more space, ya know? Breakfast was solid too! A slight letdown was the slow service at the bistro. It took forever for food to come out, but we managed. Enjoyable.

That there was no free use of computer

The spacious guest rooms feature multiple pillow options, great for a comfortable night's rest. There's easy access to the train station.

Despite the room's spaciousness, I found the furnishings to be somewhat aged . The lack of basic amenities like a fridge and kettle was a letdown, and I discovered a distinct odor in the room that was likely from past guests' smoking. Housekeeping fell short. My room wasn't thoroughly cleaned, with bits of hair left behind. I encountered interruptions from unexpected plumbing noises, which further disrupted my peace . Lastly, the room's Wi-Fi connection was inconsistent.

The breakfast spread was a culinary dream, with items that left my taste buds dancing. And just a stroll away, I found Sultana, where the regional flavors.

On the flip side, the room lacked basics like a kettle or mini bar-just a bed and a bit of furniture, really. Plus, with only one socket by the TV, charging devices got a bit chaotic!

The staff was friendly. Everything was clean and we had a good time.

We missed having a small face cloth.

Relatively close to town but pedestrians suffer from the current roadworks all the way into the centre.

The breakfast takes place with scores of tourists, the buffet is very crowded and not as plentiful as in many other hotels I visit in Germany. Still, there should be something for every taste.
